Pressure relief valves

Druckbegrenzungsventil

Pressure relief valves protect your system from exceeding the maximum
allowed pressure. They open when the maximum allowed pressure is achieved
and reduce the system pressure optionally abrupt or throttled down.

The screw-in hydraulic valves (cartridge design) are available with different
opening pressures choosable from 5 – 350 bar non-adjustable and with metric
or whitworth thread. Stainless steel valves can also be offered for other
mediums or for high temperature usage.

Key Benefits

  • Excellent closeness
  • Compact design
  • For high dynamic loads
  • Long life
  • Easy to assemble

Fixed pressure relief valves offer further advantages:

  • User-defines opening pressures up to 350 bar
  • Reduced turbulent flow
  • Insensitive to dynamical acceleration

Adjustable pressure relief valves offer further advantages:

  • Low pressure drop
  • Any opening pressures
  • Hydraulic cushion
