International Trainee Program

Assuming responsibility quickly

After successfully completing your studies, would you like to gain some insight into different function and thus an excellent overview of our company? Then the International Trainee Program of HOERBIGER is right for you.

Through our Trainee Program, we pave the way for you to experience new opportunities of both professional and personal development and to quickly advance to responsible positions. You will become qualified for demanding tasks with a focus on Controlling or Engineering and will gain an outstanding overview of the company structures and activities as well as deeper insight into corporate topics.

During the duration of the program lasting from 18 to 24 months, you will complete approximately three project assignments in different Business Units and departments, at least one of which will be at one of our international sites, outside of Germany. During your assignments, you will assume responsibility for both operational and for conceptual-strategic topics. You will provide support in day-to-day operations and complete complex tasks.

Moreover, you will participate in training programs with technical, personal and methodological orientation, get to know senior managers from different departments, and thereby develop a cross-functional and cross-divisional network.

Subsequent to the Trainee Program, we will assume a responsible position within your focal area of training.

Candidate profile:

  • Successful candidates will have obtained a degree in business administration or economics with a focus on Controlling, Finance and Accounting or are about to graduate.
  • Candidates will have obtained a technically-oriented degree (industrial engineering, mechanical engineering, electrical engineering or the like) or are about to graduate. In addition, you have sound business administration know-how.
  • Over the course of their studies, candidates will have gained practical experience in an industrial, perhaps even international environment.
  • Candidates are mobile for worldwide travel and want to gain international experience.
  • Candidates will have high standards when it comes to the quality of their work and approach topics constructively, well-organized and reliably.
  • In addition, candidates are able to grasp issues quickly and have a pronounced analytical understanding.
  • Candidates will have a good command of the English and German languages.
