HOERBIGER ::

SDM - Solenoid Driver Module

The Solenoid Driver Module is a hardware interface built to drive a vast range of solenoids in the demanding environment of a stationary gas engine.

The current waveform control is governed by an MPC 565 processor, with support by an FPGA, which enables not only accurate control and operation but above all a high degree of flexibility featuring customer adaptations and system tuning by local parameter settings in the embedded software.

The SDM is a key component in a product family for electronically controlled fuel injection including Port Fuel Injection (PFI) and Electronic Pre Chamber Control (EPCC). Both PFI and EPCC are examples of close co-operation between HOERBIGER Control Systems and HOERBIGER ValveTec to provide state of the art valves and solenoid control logic for the retro-fit as well as the demanding OEM gas engine market.
