For years, the ORIGA Group has been an extremely successful company in the field of industrial automation. The basis for this development was laid by the company founders of ORIGA, a Swedish company, with the invention of the rodless pneumatic cylinder, which was patented in 1971. While the global market for industrial pneumatics has since consolidated, the growth potential for full-service providers with a high worldwide market presence remains attractive.

Like HOERBIGER, Parker feels especially responsible for its employees. Employee development, success planning, lean business processes, and excellent customer service rely on the commitment of every employee.
HOERBIGER acquired the ORIGA Group in 1992 and later integrated it into the Strategic Business Unit Automation Technology as the Business Division Industrial Pneumatics. It continuously promoted the expansion of the distribution network, technologically enhanced the ORIGA cylinder and supplemented it by numerous system components.
In 1996, HOERBIGER introduced the ORIGA SYSTEM PLUS OSP in the market. The modular drive system, which is based on the ORIGA cylinder, is available in eight cylinder diameters between 10 and 80 millimeters and at stroke lengths of up to 41 meters provides the user with maximum flexibility. ORIGA SYSTEM PLUS offers the customer the ability to select a rodless pneumatic cylinder or an electric drive with toothed belt, ball screw or trapezoidal screw. The modular system is comprised of pneumatic and electric drive units, guides, brakes, sensors, displacement measuring systems and the matching accessories.
With the controllers and the standard, micro and activated carbon filters produced at the Wiener Neustadt site, as well as with the central and injection lubricator systems, HOERBIGER Origa in addition has a high-performance program for compressed air conditioning. The spectrum of components and systems offered ranges from production equipment and customized solutions to integrated compressed air management.
