HOERBIGER Micro Fluid GmbH at the MEDICA: Hall 14, Booth C20

At the MEDICA held in Düsseldorf, Germany, on November 18-21, 2009, HOERBIGER Micro Fluid GmbH, Barbing, Germany, will introduce innovative hydraulic patient positioning systems. HOERBIGER Micro Fluid is considered a specialist for customized solutions in the field of industrial micro-hydraulics. Some of the products featured by the company at the MEDICA will include tailor-made components, electronic controllers, and complete columns with lift functions for operating tables.

The highlight of this year’s trade show presentation by HOERBIGER Micro Fluid GmbH will be the new lift Column for Heavy Load, CHL. It sets a new standard for lift columns used in operating tables. Conventional operating tables are designed for a patient weight of up to 180 kilograms, or just under 400 pounds. The lift Column for Heavy Load, CHL from HOERBIGER can easily handle up to three times this weight. It is suited, without restrictions, for continuous operation with loads of about 500 kilograms, or about 1,100 pounds.

The innovative integrated measuring equipment in the cylinders combines the robust hydraulic HOERBIGER cylinder with the HOERBIGER stroke measuring sensor system proven in everyday industrial use. This solution is clearly superior to conventional approaches. The advantages with respect to the installation space, the costs, and functional reliability define a new standard for measuring technology in lift columns.
