HOERBIGER SynchronTechnik GmbH & Co. KG in Oberstenfeld develops and produces complete synchronizer systems for the powertrain of various vehicles. In January 2007, the powertrain specialist GETRAG handed over the site founded in 1960 to the HOERBIGER Group.

Synchronizers are an important component in manual and double-clutch transmissions with considerable impact on gearshift comfort and other performance parameters of transmissions. The know-how of the Oberstenfeld site moves HOERBIGER Antriebstechnik into position as the leading independent supplier of transmission synchronizers and as a global partner for transmission manufacturers.
